Key Laboratory Sections
1. Biochemistry
The largest section, performing a wide range of tests:
- Glucose, lipid profiles (cholesterol, triglycerides)
- Liver/kidney function tests
- Cardiac markers (troponin, CK-MB)
- Thyroid function tests (TSH, T3, T4)
- Infectious disease screening (HIV, hepatitis)
- Electrolytes, PSA (prostate-specific antigen), and more.
Equipped with state-of-the-art automated analyzers for precision and efficiency.
2. Coagulation
Specialized in clotting tests, critical for cardiac patients:
- PT/INR (monitoring for warfarin therapy)
- aP,kdTT, fibrinogen, D-dimer (thrombosis screening).
3. Blood Bank
- Blood typing (ABO/Rh)
- Cross-matching for transfusions
- Antibody screening to prevent transfusion reactions.
4. Hematology

- Electrolytes (Na⁺, K⁺, Ca²⁺).
8. Pathology
- Cancer diagnostics (biopsy analysis)
- Pap smears (cervical cancer screening)
