A delegation of assessors from the Ministry of Health, together with representatives from leading universities, visited the university on 17–18 November and conducted a comprehensive evaluation aimed at international accreditation and enhancing educational and research standards.

In line with strengthening its international standing and ensuring the quality of education, the university hosted a delegation of assessors from the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, along with representatives from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. This two-day evaluation, carried out on 17–18 November, focused on assessing the university’s international performance and its alignment with established accreditation standards.

The opening ceremony of the visit was held with the presence of the University President, the Representative of the Supreme Leader’s Office, vice-chancellors, senior managers, and deans of faculties—reflecting the university’s strong commitment to achieving international accreditation.

Throughout the visit, the assessors conducted a systematic review of all processes and infrastructures related to international activities. The evaluation covered policies on admitting and supporting international students and researchers, the quality of academic programs delivered in foreign languages, scientific collaborations with reputable global institutions, and administrative and welfare services provided to the international academic community.

The assessment team also conducted an extensive field visit to various university facilities. This included jointly used educational and research facilities, international student dormitories and welfare centers, the central library and digital resources, laboratories, clinical skills training centers, as well as the offices of the International Relations Directorate and the International Campus.

Additionally, the evaluation featured a constructive meeting between the assessors, faculty members, and international students to incorporate stakeholders’ direct perspectives into the assessment process.

During the closing ceremony, representatives of the Ministry of Health and the assessment delegation presented an initial outline of the university’s strengths and areas for improvement regarding its international performance. This preliminary report will serve as a key foundation for developing the university’s international development roadmap and obtaining recognized accreditation from global ranking and accreditation bodies.
