Aims and Goals

1) Obtaining the final license of the research institute in the second or third year of activity

2) Establishment of materials and element analysis laboratories for research services inside and outside the province

3) Launching a cell immunotherapy department in the research institute for clinical purposes

4) Launching a comprehensive research laboratory in the research institute to reduce the burden of research costs

5) Completion of the genetics department in terms of laboratory and human resources for genetic preparation in the province

6) Setting up registers related to the activities of the research institute to provide future research feed

7) Launching laboratories and research collections in the field of clinical neurophysiology

8) Setting up at least one well-equipped molecular cell laboratory for excellent research purposes in the region

9) Establishment of a liaison office with industry-oriented studies based on molecular cell medicine

10) Establishment of the Supreme Council of Stem Cells and Reconstructive Medicine in the province as a hub for related activities in the region

11) Launching a bio-defense laboratory for the purposes of counteracting bioterrorism and cooperating with the healing camp in the form of passive defense

12) Paying attention to clinical priorities and setting up a basic clinical council to enumerate the priorities of basic research based on clinical evidence

13) Setting up an international relations office to be able to receive international grants

14) Efforts to conclude regional agreements with related regions in neighboring countries for joint research activities

15) Establishment of permanent secretariats for effective interaction with the technology headquarters of the Vice President for Science and Technology

16) Creating a joint table of research activities with effective agencies inside the province and outside the province

17) Special attention in setting up Health Technology Development Center related to the activities of the research institute and creating infrastructures for setting up technology cores and knowledge-based companies

18) Creating the necessary infrastructure for the production of biotechnological and herbal medicines in cases related to common and uncommon diseases of the province

19) Attention to the infrastructure required to set up environmental incubators for semi-industrial and industrial products by the Research Institute

20) Launching the intellectual property and patent registration office and constructive interaction with the Vice President for Science and Technology to increase the ability of researchers to be able to register ideas and products

21) Creating the necessary infrastructure to hold startups related to the activities of the research institute

Objectives:

1) Increasing the number of published articles of the research institute with the address of the research institute during the first years after with an increase of at least 10% of the base of the previous year

2) Hiring at least 2 new board members in each year from the second year onwards with a gradual increase of 2 in the following years

3) Obtaining a license to recruit faculty members from the second year at least one case per year

4) Increasing the number of approved projects with financial support inside the university and outside the universit

5) Increasing the amount of grants received from outside the university by a factor of 10% of the base of the previous year

6) Carrying out 3 researches entrusted from the first year onwards with customers inside and outside the university with a gradual increase of 2 in the following years

7) Increasing the number of faculty of the service commitment plan in each year with a coefficient of at least 10% of the previous year

8) Reducing financial dependence on the internal resources of the university and zeroing it in at least 5 years of the research institute

9) Increase the number of laboratories required by a factor of one laboratory per year

10) Submitting at least 3 national proposals with resources outside the university and outside the province each year

11) Submitting at least 5 provincial proposals with resources outside the university and inside the province each year

13) Performing at least 10 steps related to tuberculosis immunotherapy for the clinical department in the fourth year of the research institute with an increase coefficient of 2 for the following years

14) Launching at least 2 technology cores in the second year and with a production factor of 2 for the following years

15) Establishment of at least 1 approved knowledge-based company in the third year of operation with a gradual increase of 1 in the following years

16) Production of at least one biotechnology drug in the fourth year of the research institute as a laboratory and a gradual increase of 1 in the following years

17) Production of at least one herbal medicine related to common diseases of the province in the fourth year of the research institute activity in a laboratory and a gradual increase of 1 in the following years

18) Registration of at least one intellectual property in the third year and a gradual increase of 1 in the following years

19) Registration of at least one product patent in the fourth year of the research institute with a gradual increase of 0.5 in the following years

20) Holding at least two startups by the research institute in the second year of activity in the fields of technology related to the gradual increase of 2 in the following years

21) Obtaining at least one billion Rials grant from sources within the province in the second year of activity in line with the activities of the research institute

22) Obtaining at least 10 billion Rials grant from national resources in the second year of activity in line with the activities of the research institute
