Urmia University of Medical Sciences

The competition was held in Khazarabad, Sari, with the participation of international male students from 21 universities of medical sciences.

The second sports festival of international students of medical universities in Iran was held from March 5 to 10, 2024 in Khazarabad, Sari. In this event, students from 21 universities of medical sciences: Qom, Kermanshah, Semnan, Zanjan, Kerman, Golestan, Kurdistan, Gonabad, Urmia, Isfahan, Mashhad, Hamedan, Ahvaz, Iran, Tabriz, Mazandaran, Arak, Shahrkord, Ilam, Shiraz and Tehran competed in 12 sports: futsal, shooting, swimming, badminton, table tennis, rope skipping, darts, fitness, dominoes, frisbee, dodgeball and tug-of-war.

The sports team of Urmia University of Medical Sciences won 10 top places in the national level in these competitions.
The achievements of the international male students of Urmia University of Medical Sciences include: first and second places in the national fitness competition, second place in badminton, third place in futsal, two gold medals in frisbee in the obstacle and accuracy categories, gold medal in darts and third place in dodgeball.

This brilliance shows the ability and dynamism of international students of Urmia University of Medical Sciences in various sports and cultural fields.
